SKYRACK - BALLASTED® (SRB)

SRB is hb Solar’s newest addition to the portfolio of roof top mounting products.  Designed for the harshest conditions North America offers, it is rail based and can accommodate all types of flat roof tops.  Through collaboration with wind tunnel experts (RWDI), SRB requires minimal ballast while providing maximum panel support.  Our new North-South base rail follows the contours of the roof while minimizing contact and impact on the roof membrane.  Our patented speed clamp allows installers to quickly and easily add ballast while ensuring blocks are up off the roof deck. Some other key features include:

• Available in 4 different panel tilts (3, 5, 7 and 10 degree)

• Maximize panel density and minimize cost with portrait design (up to 20% more panels)

• Can be dissembled and re-installed to allow for roof repairs or relocation

• Protection mats are compatible with all roof types and help protect roof warranty

• Uses standard 16” x 8” x 4” solid concrete blocks as ballast

• Customizable inter-row spacing allows you to work around obstacles and reduce the global psf by better distributing the system weight over the roof surface.
